Who wouldn't prefer to go on holidays with their dog(s)?

Getting away of it all together? Enjoying nature?

From July 2005 both Gîtes have been holidayhome for many dogs and their people.

​

 

We welcome you and your four-footed friends, in our holiday homes

in natureparc the Morvan in Burgundy France.

All your dogs (no limits for how many dogs or breed!) are welcome .

We offer two holiday cottages with  spacious gardens equipped with a fence of  2 metres in height.

(1200m2 and 600m2, parking on private terrain).

Do you enjoy nature and long walks, swimming in one of la Morvan's beautiful lakes, moutainbiking in the woods, culture,  good food & wine and friendly people .. the Morvan is the place for you to be!

Gîte Petit Blancs 
This cozy cottage in authentic "en-pierre" style is suitable for 4 persons

(2 adults and 2 children).


The interior of the gîte consists of: 

- kitchen/living room/ dining area

- a separate bedroom with Queensized bed 160x200 cm and a shower/toiletroom.

- Flatscreen TV with satelliet NL, B, FR, D, GB senders and more + radio

- DVD player with films

- free WIFI

- woodstove with wood provided

- books and games

- a comfortable sofa convertable to a 2 persons bed

Kitchen equipment:

- gas cooker+oven

- microwave/grill combi

- refrigerator + freezer combi

-dishwasher

- coffemaker perculator

-Senseo 

- juicer

- watercooker

- all the necessary kitchen-ware

For the dogs:

- 3 large baskets

You have your own gate entrance, full privacy, you drive the car into the garden, close the gate and your holiday starts.
The cottage is available the whole year through. The rental fee includes gas,

water & light and  wood is provided in the cold months.

The rent does not include bedding or towels for shower or kitchen (which may, however, be seperately rented for €15,- pw/p2p).

Gîte Petit Gouloux

At a 10 minutes drive from Petit Blancs we rent out

a second gîte for people with their dogs.

This cottage in authentic style is suitable for 4 adults.



The interior of the gîte consists of :

- kitchen

- livingroom

- bedroom with Queensized bed 160x200 cm 

- bathroom with shower/toilet.

- free WIFI

- DVD player with films

- Flatscreen TV with satelliet senders NL, B, FR, GB, D, and more. Radiosenders too!

- fireplace with wood provided

- games and books (mainly Dutch)

- a comfortable sofa which can be converted into a bed for 2 persons.

 

Kitchen equipment:

- gascooker+ oven

- microwave

- refrigerator

- large freezer

- coffeebrewer

- Senseo

- watercooker

- toaster

- all the necessary kitchen-ware


For the dogs:

- 3 dog baskets

- drink- and feeding bowls

- doggy toys + agility

 

Outside the cottage:

- a 600m2 garden completly fenced and enclosed, 2 meters high

- patio furniture

- barbecue

- gardenset with Parasol

- private parkingspace

 

Drive the car into the garden, close the gate and your holiday can start.The cottage is available to rent all year round. The rental fee includes gas, water and light. The rent does not include bedding or towels for shower or kitchen (which may, however, be seperately rented for €15,- pw/p2p).

More Information

 

Cleaning:

You do not pay any cleaning costs or additional costs for your dog(s) however we expect you to leave the house in a proper condition according to our checklist. (available in the gîtes)

In the gites you will find a book with the houserules, tips and trips and other usefull information. 

 

Service arrangement
You may also opt for a service arrangement, which you need to specify when making your reservation.
The service arrangement consists of:
- basic groceries upon arrival (water, cheese, butter, Quiche, Tabouleh, soup, french bread, milk etc.)
- bedding and bathtowels and kitchenlinnen for 1 week

The bed will be made and ready for a comfy sleep.

The service arrangement amounts to an additional fee of € 35.00.

You can also choose to rent only bedding-, kitchen- and bath linnen which amounts to € 15,- per week.
 

Arrival and Departure

Arrival: Saturdays after 16:00 (other times negotiable)
Departure: Saturdays before 11:00 (not negotiable)

 

Security deposit
A security deposit of €150,- 

The security deposit is expected to be paid beforehand with the rental fee. 

This deposit will be returned to your bankaccount within 2 weeks after departure.

Any damages or missing items will be deducted off this amount.

Location
Our gîtes are to be found in Burgundy, within the regional park of the Morvan.

It is located some 15 km south of Avallon, 2,5 hours south east of Paris.
Petit Blancs is 3km from the beautiful Lac de St Agnan, where you can make marvellous walks.

For your shopping you can go to Quarré les Tombes (9km) a typical French village, with 2 small supermarkets, a bakery and twice a week a lovely market.

At 25 minutes you will find Avallon where there is a large Hypermarche Auchan.

You can visit nice places like Vezelay, Beaune or Dijon.
Gouloux is 5 minutes by car from the larger lake Lac des Settons, and 10 minutes from Lac St Agnan.

For your shopping you can go to Montsauche de Settons, a small French village with a supermarket

and town), where you will find many restaurants and a Bi1 supermarket.

 

Petrol
Fuelling up is cheapest at the large supermarkets (Auchan, Bi1).

This can make a difference of up to 10-15 eurocents!

The road signs in France are adequate and clear; every few kilometres along the highways there are rest-stops and it is clearly indicated when and where you approach a roadside restaurant or petrol station.
